Dear Friends of Faith Ministry,

The Board of Directors held its winter meeting on February19, 2011 in McAllen, TX.

We would like to share with you information arising from that meeting concerning mission work groups in Reynosa and Miguel Aleman.

At the present time, conditions in Reynosa continue to remain stable, and mission work groups are allowed with the following conditions: 

  ~Youth are allowed only if they are part of an intergenerational group.  (recommend a ratio of 2 adults:1 youth, no  less than 1:1).

  ~ Group participants must adhere to the Mission Work Group Guidelines, which are attached.

Conditions in Miguel Aleman are such that it remains temporarily closed to mission work groups.

The safety of the staff and mission work groups are top priority. The Board of Directors and staff of Faith Ministry are continually monitoring the situations in Reynosa and Miguel Aleman.  It is our intent to keep you informed in a timely and accurate manner.
